Thresholds & weatherstripping: what to know
In an Alberta winter, a worn door bottom or a gap at the head of the frame shows up as frost, ice and a cold draft. Good seals fix that, and they also help with sound, smoke and dust.
On barrier-free routes, thresholds have to stay low and bevelled so wheelchairs and walkers roll over them. We install thresholds that seal without becoming a trip or wheel hazard.
