Steel
Insulated, secure and good value. Best when it's kept painted and the bottom edge stays sealed.
Across Alberta
We repair and replace front, back and side entry doors in steel, fibreglass and wood, fitted square and sealed against cold and drafts.
Overview
Your entry door is the one you use most and the one the weather hits hardest. Most entry door problems come from seasonal movement, worn weatherstripping, a sagging hinge or a failed threshold, and a lot of them can be fixed without replacing the door.
When replacement is the better spend, we install a new prehung unit, insulate the gap between frame and framing, seal it properly and finish the trim, inside and out.
When to call
Every job is different. These are the kinds of entry doors work we do most.
Insulated, secure and good value. Best when it's kept painted and the bottom edge stays sealed.
Won't dent or rot, holds its shape through temperature swings, and can be stained to look like wood.
Looks great and can be refinished, but needs more upkeep and protection from sun and moisture.

Repair makes sense when the slab is solid and the trouble is the hinges, latch, weatherstripping or alignment. Replacement is usually the better spend when the door is rotted, delaminating or warped, or the glass seal has failed.
Yes. The old door stays in until the new one is ready to set, so the opening is only exposed briefly. We insulate the gap and use sealants rated for cold-weather application.
Most entry doors are 36 inches wide and 80 inches tall, but older and custom homes vary. Our measuring guide shows you what to measure, and we always re-measure on site.
